On Friday, December 17th 2010, at approximately 6:45 p.m., Patrick Hastings was confronted outside of Park Crest Village Apartments, A building, in Glassboro by an unidentified black male armed with a small caliber handgun. A struggle ensued and Hastings was shot in the neck. The suspect is described as a black male, husky build, approximately 5’8″ tall, wearing a black hoodie and dark jeans. He fled east on Rt. 322 from Park Crest Village apartments.
On March 11, 2014, Patrick Hastings died from complications directly related to the initial gunshot wound. The Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office and Glassboro Police Department are offering an $8,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this investigation.
